Dr. Martin Downey
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Owner of Companion Care Animal Hospital. Dr. Downey established Companion Care Animal Hospital in November 2005 as a one doctor practice, it has now grown to a three doctor practice. Dr. Downey grew up in Guelph, Ontario Canada and graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1993. His special interests are all types of surgeries but especially orthopedic surgery, and educating clients on the well being of their pets. Dr. Downey enjoys making every visit a learning experience for the owner as well as the pet, and loves teaching old dogs new tricks. Dr. Downey is married with one child Brayden and they live with their two dogs: Lola and Louis. He enjoys going fishing with his son and visiting his family in Canada.
